A. This bit's important..!

...no-body likes to read instructions but you DO need to know these things before installing your tank..!

  • READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS before you begin to ensure you do not void your warranty, and to make sure your tank is safely installed for long term use.
  • The tank weighs over 2.8 ton [5643 pounds] when full - to ensure it remains stable at all times it must be installed on a solid, level base that won't subside or wash away over time.
  • Tanks being installed on different levels - stepping downhill - cannot be joined at the bottom but need to overflow from the higher tanks into the lower tanks. The additional pressure will damage the lower tanks if joined at the bottom outlets.
  • Check with your local authority for any regulations relating to rainharvesting and storm water runoff on your property.
  • Consider access to the tank when choosing the position - you will need to get the water out of the tank, run the overflow to a suitable place, and get to the tank for maintainence.
  • Drill out the tap outlets BEFORE installing the tank, especially if you are joining tanks together... it is much easier.
